Introduction To The Ukulele

This short workshop is an Introduction To The Ukulele. You will learn how to play 5 different chords, how to strum, and how to play two easy songs. First of all, this course is intended to give you an Introduction To The Ukulele that will give you the tools to move forward. Next, I do this by teaching you how to read chord diagrams so that you can play more chords and songs on your own. Lastly, if you enjoyed playing your ukulele, I give you some tips moving forward. If you signed up for my “Suds And Songs” live workshop you automatically are enrolled in this online course. The live seminar teaches the same things, however, this online workshop is an excellent refresher for anyone taking the live seminar who wants to remember what was covered during the workshop.

Your Ukulele Instructor

My name is Bobbi and I have been playing guitar since I was 14 years old. Back in 2009, I became interested in playing the ukulele. I bought my first ukulele and started teaching myself some songs and techniques to play the ukulele. With my background in guitar, the ukulele came easy to me and this fun little instrument became part of my playing routine.

About This Introduction to the Ukulele Class

This is an introduction to the ukulele workshop and is designed as a crash course on playing chords on the ukulele. It is intended as an introduction to getting you to play a few songs quickly. With this knowledge, you can continue on your own, or if you want to go deeper. At the end of the workshop, I list some resources to get you going on your own or with an instructor.

Who Is This Class For

The introduction to the ukulele workshop is for the absolute beginner who knows nothing about music. If you know some stuff about the ukulele or have played other stringed instruments, then you will have an advantage.

What You Will Need

Pretty much, just a ukulele and a willingness to learn. If you do not have a ukulele and are taking my suds and songs live workshop, I do have a few ukuleles on hand to rent to you, This is a great way to try out playing before you invest in a ukulele.
